Home
Harry Wilco van Genderen was born, of Dutch nationality, on the 2nd of September 1927 in Kwala Simpang, Indonesia. He died on the 12th of February 2006 in Milan. Harry ('Henk' for his Italian friends), lived and worked for more than 40 years in Milan after having left the Netherlands for Italy as a young man, to study at the Art Academy there and remained living in Italy till his death.
Henk van Genderen left more than 150 pieces of art, from different periods and varying in style. To conserve his work for a larger public and in remembrance of him, we are organizing an exhibition of a selection of his work in Italy in the beginning of November.

This website is constructed in commemoration of Van Genderen. This website will be filled with a picture-gallery showing his paintings, information about his life and work and more information about the exposition.

Harry Wilco van Genderen, (‘Henk’ per gli amici italiani), di nazionalità olandese, nasce il 2 settembre 1927 a Kwala Simpang, in Indonesia. In giovane età si stabilisce a Milano per iscriversi all’Accademia di Belle Arti. Vive e lavora in Italia per oltre 40 anni fino alla sua morte, il 12 febbraio 2006.
Harry van Genderen lascia oltre 150 opere d’arte appartenenti a differenti periodi e stili. Per conservare, far conoscere il suo lavoro ad un vasto pubblico e per commemorarlo, i suoi eredi hanno organizzato una mostra nella quale sarà presentata una ricca selezione dei suoi lavori. La mostra si svolgerà in Italia agli inizi del mese di novembre.
